Stance on AI

At Due Diligence Games, we care deeply about our brand’s reputation, which is exactly why we want to address this topic openly to the public. In short, we are strongly against the use of AI to replace human creativity, especially in art and tabletop game design. Overall, Due Diligence as a board game is a deeply human-designed experience that took more than 20 dedicated months to develop. The passion for this project stems from a decade of art experience from our artist, Katie Burd, and nearly two decades of combined stock-market investing experience between our two co-designers, Mark Krabben and Steven Fiust.

The Tabletop Game Designers Association (TTGDA) published a report on March 26th, 2026, about a survey they conducted on the topic of AI use in the tabletop gaming industry, which can be found here: https://irp.cdn-website.com/2b6905d0/files/uploaded/TTGDA+Member+Survey_+Use+of+Generative+AI+3_25_26.pdf
